Contact TierCliff

One address for corrections, questions and bug reports, and what happens after you send something.

TierCliff is maintained by one person, so there is a single address for everything:

charleserver [at] gmail [dot] com

Replace the bracketed words with the punctuation they stand for. The address is written that way because a plain one gets harvested by scrapers within days, and a contact page that drowns in spam is not a contact page.

What to send here

A pricing correction. This is the most useful thing you can send, and it gets priority. If a rate or a multiplier on this site disagrees with OpenAI's current API pricing documentation, include the page you checked and the date you checked it. Corrections are applied to the page itself, and the "updated" date changes so there is one current version rather than a growing errata list.

An answer to an open question. The methodology page lists three pricing interactions we have not been able to confirm from public documentation — how Batch and Flex discounts interact with cached input, whether the higher cache-write rate applies to every current model, and which rate-limit tier Ultrafast is served from. If you have documentation that settles any of them, that is genuinely valuable.

A disagreement about methodology. The effort multipliers are labelled as planning assumptions because they are ours, not OpenAI's. If you have measured ratios from real traffic that beat them, send them.

A bug report. If a table on the site disagrees with what the calculator computes, that is a bug. Tell us which page, which inputs and which numbers you expected.

What to expect

Messages are read, but this is a side project rather than a support desk, so a reply can take a few days. Corrections to published figures are handled first. If you do not get an answer, it is usually because the question is already covered on the methodology page or in the guides.
